Find the woman who has been exactly where you are.
LEMKI is a community for pregnancy and infant loss. Tell your story once, in your own words, and meet women whose journeys match yours: the same weeks, the same diagnosis, and what happened next.
In private pilot. Free for women to join.

Also 23 weeks. Placental abruption. Induction.
“I lost my son Elias at 23 weeks to an abruption, and I was induced too. I saw how close your story is to mine and just wanted to reach out.”
Her answer is out there, lost in a thread from three years ago.
Every night, women type questions like these into forums and group chats, hoping someone who has lived it will reply. The women who could answer them exist. They're just impossible to find at the moment you need them.
LEMKI gives those stories a home: told in each woman's own words, organised so you can find the ones closest to yours, and connected to the woman who wrote them.
The questions on this page are illustrative.
How LEMKI works
Five steps, at your own pace. Skip anything you're not ready for.
-
Tell your journey
Talk it through with a gentle guide, or fill in a short form. How many weeks, what happened, where you are now. Month and year only. We never ask for your hospital, your town or your baby's full name.

-
Meet someone like you
See women whose journeys are closest to yours, and exactly why: also 23 weeks, the same diagnosis, near you, or already pregnant again. You choose who to connect with, and they choose too.

-
Read what happened next
Stories from women who are a little further along: pregnant again, parenting after loss, or still finding their way. Each one has the short version, a timeline, and what helped.

-
Join a live conversation
Small online sessions hosted by specialists and counsellors: preparing for pregnancy after loss, recovering from a C-section, coping on the hard days. Send your question ahead, anonymously.

-
Prepare for care
See what helped the women closest to your journey, then walk into your next appointment with the questions they wished they'd asked. Lived experience, never medical advice.

For clinicians, researchers and organisations
Women's health research is underfunded and slow, and the women researchers need are hard to reach. LEMKI turns lived experience into structured, consented insight.
- Understand the whole journey. What women go through between appointments, what they worry about, and what they say helped.
- Recruit the right women, faster. Describe who your study needs; LEMKI invites women who match and have said yes to research.
- Insight without identities. Only aggregated data, only from women who opted in. Small groups are never shown.
What you share here is the most personal thing there is. We treat it that way.
You decide who sees what. Nothing is public unless you choose to publish your story.
We ask for as little as possible. A first name or nickname. Month and year, never exact dates. Your state or region, only if you want women near you to find you.
Private things stay private. Your journal, your check-ins and your messages are encrypted.
No ads, and we never sell your personal data. Research only ever sees aggregated insight, and only with your explicit yes.
Leave any time. Download everything, or delete everything, yourself, in a few taps.
Honest about AI. LEMKI's guide is AI, and the pilot includes AI sample members so it never feels empty. They're always clearly labelled.
